2 of the big arcade machines are gone. Got rid of them earlier in the week. The blue one with the CE marquee and the huge showcase one where we played billions of epic CVS2 matches on. While they were being loaded into trucks by some goobers heading off into 2 different places I realized how much time and love I actually spent finding those cabs. Fixing them up. Modifying them and whatnot. I'm not one to get attached to things but It does feel very odd not having them there anymore. Well, they served their purpose and for their time they were brilliant.

Now that space is replaced with another long table with more VH236H monitors and consoles.

I still have to clear out some more machines to make way for more LCD setups.

I don't know why I felt compelled to write this here. keystoneii.com/forums has been crippled by the absence of old posters and the fact that no new members can join. Atleast we still have IRC and IRL.

I'd like to do pictures again. How we had them setup at the old KS2. Polaroid stylin'... I threw the old ones in the trash when I moved. New Start.

New setup is cool too. I think we need more art to compensate for the machines being gone. I think once everything is arranged we have room for approximately 3 more setups. One of them will be MAMEd for sure so we can still play the old junk and PC releases. Not sure what i'll do about CVS2

The cabs were something you spent a lot of time with and are very proud of, sometimes memories are the hardest things to let go of. But on the flip side, KS is moving in the direction you wanted it to!

Do I get to have a picture on the KS wall?

Also for the art, do you want some of the Tekken Posters? I'm sure I can hunt some down if you would like.

Yeah man, that is gonna feel real weird. I feel like the whole "coolness" of having arcades was just that... the cabs and homies huddled and standing around. I guess times are changing when all that shit is being replaced by HD monitors. Well, I'm still glad you're keeping the fun times going.

Speaking of which, cool to come through tomorrow? It's been too long once again.

There will always be CVS2! I just tested one of the lcds with a ps2 adapter called... THE HORI UPSCALE CONVERTER! Took forever to get it to work. Had to change the settings on the PS2 and theres hella switches and buttons on the converter..but it works. Playing CVS2 on jap stixX widescreenishly IS GONNA SUCK..but hey..

Someone is also gonna have to bring a PS2 stick. I only got one.


The layout is still a work in progress of course. Still a ways till everything is setup just right but it's looking gooood.

I appear to be missing a SF4 PS3 game and my black beanie *baby* I just got. My brain was mush last friday, hopefully I didn't play frisbee with it or gave my shit away. Any tips n trix?


We gonna need some PS3 SF4 copies regardless tomorrow. Maybe 1 PS3 Tekken 6 as well.
